We're watching you

The election is over, and it's time to move forward, but that doesn't mean that it's we are going to roll over and play dead.  The eyes are looking directly at city hall, and there's good reason for that.

I'm hoping they get even cockier, even more brazen then before.

We already have a city manager that has illegally signed contracts for GEDC.  We already have nothing shy of dumping into our Guadalupe river with concrete and rebar.  I'm certain that is going to cost you and I the tax payers money.  And there is more.

We  have a city council that is not taking care of business.  We've still got shady deals going on.  Nothing has changed.

So for now the message needs to be loud and clear to city hall -

We're watching you!

  1. Interesting about illegally signed contracts for GEDC by the City Manager. Did these contracts and monies perhaps benefit friends or constituants of his in the "name of economic development?" Do elaborate if you can...if not, guess we'll read the paper? Probably not...thats a different story. Don't recall reading anything about alleged Election Fraud there either.

  2. How are we able to tear up the land that was to remain natural and undeveloped out at the J.B. Wells Park in accordance with the grant given to fund the park? The original grant stated that a set amount of land had to be set aside and remain natural, the city immediate violated this when the land was cleared. Then they planted little trees that they let die; now they are grading it and dozing it to add more trailer spots to replace the ones they are going to tear out. Please tell me something there is something wrong with this picture, or am I just imagining things?

  3. I've actually seen the contract on the land, and I will correct myself, it was made out David Huessmann on behalf of Gonzales Developement per his orders. He had not signed it. But on what authority did he order that contract in that manner? Especially when the GEDC had NOT voted on it.

  4. You know it's amazing that local developers that wanted to put a water park in those areas were told they couldn't do anything of the sort, and yet the city can do what they want?

We had an original plan that was approved by certain agencies. We have deviated from those plans, and honestly they could come back and ask for MILLONS in reimbursement if they wanted to on the JB Wells. It's not like it's your or my money we're talking about....oh wait, yes it is! But people have decided to turn a blind eye to what is going on.

We're not even talking about the potential fines we could receive from the state because of the waste dumping of the concrete with barbwire into the river *slapping forehead*. Any 1st grader knows better than that! Why don't we just dump our oil in the river too?
